Our Advocacy

Dr. Cruz created a foundation called, PLC Foundation, namesake of his late father Pedro Lam Cruz, which provides financial assistance for the education and hospitalization of JTC employees and families of employees. PLC Foundation also supports autism awareness and social integration, as Dr. Cruz wants more people to understand the importance of helping people with special needs to cope with day-to-day life. He is also heavily involved in giving back to the community.

As an army reservist and surgeon, he organizes medical missions with his colleagues in the medical field and EXECOM team in JTC. Aside from providing medical check ups he also performs minor surgeries to people in need in rural communities.

However, driven by his entrepreneurial spirit, he transitioned to the business world after practicing medicine for several years. His relentless dedication and vision transformed the modest family-owned enterprise from a single store in Davao City into a thriving conglomerate encompassing over 40 companies nationwide, boasting a workforce of more than 1,500 individuals.

Additionally, he serves as a special envoy for trade and investments to China, leveraging his expertise to foster international partnerships. With an unwavering belief in the mantra "Nothing is Impossible," Dr. Cruz imbues his team with the conviction that every challenge possesses a solution, no matter how unconventional. Presently, his primary focus lies on expanding synergistic business ventures, aiming to foster economic growth and create employment opportunities for fellow Filipinos.
